National Field Representatives

RESTful WEB SERVICES PROGRAMMER

Great opportunity with one of the area’s best employers. National Field Representatives is looking for a Programmer/Software Developer who will program RESTful Web Applications. The programmer/software developer will build the tools NFR and its contractors need to deliver high quality data exchange with customers, creating processes that improve efficiencies, quality and responsiveness. Will be part of a team that analyzes, designs, and programs, modifications and new applications. Writes code and completes programming, testing, and debugging of applications including proprietary software/applications. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience creating and consuming RESTful services.
  • A minimum of 2+ years experience as a front-end developer building responsive websites and web applications.
  • Full grasp of HTML, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX-based JSON/XML web services.
  • An understanding of semantic, responsive, cross-browser markup.
  • Experience with front-end web frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation).
  • Experience using CSS preprocessors such as LESS, SASS and/or Compass.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript application frameworks (e.g. jQuery, ExtJS, React).
  • Confidently and quickly able to navigate around and work within an unfamiliar codebase.
  • Able to troubleshoot and debug complex websites and applications (e.g. network requests, front-end performance, layout issues, browser bugs).
  • Strong object oriented fundamentals with experience in Java or C#.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
  • UI/UX design (e.g. wireframing, prototyping, comps).
  • Client facing consulting experience.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. Sybase, MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server) and SQL.
  • Delphi IDE
  • Version Control Systems

PROGRAMMER

Desired Knowledge:

  • Web application development covering some of the following RESTful Web Services, .NET Framework, C#, ADO.NET, MS SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON
  • SQL writing
  • Use of Object Oriented Design and be  familiar with Visual Studio, Java, C#, C++, VB.NET, etc.
  • Would like Delphi knowledge (Object Pascal)

PRESERVATION COORDINATOR

The responsibilities include extensive telephone contact with mortgage companies and independent contractors in field, working with cities and towns, data entry, verbal and written communications, and customer service. Must be able to use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve red flags, point out concerns, and escalate issues to the appropriate person for further resolution, and work within set productivity requirements. Must be able to multi-task, set own priorities, have the ability to problem-solve, find resolutions, and make decisions and be self-motivated in a fast paced, multi-tasked, and time sensitive environment.

INVOICING COORDINATOR

Invoices in compliance with investor guidelines and customer requirements in a time sensitive manner. Utilizes extensive documentation with many variations. Must be able to use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve red flags, point out concerns, and elevate issues to the appropriate person for further resolution. Good computer/data entry skills are necessary to document situations and resolutions. Must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills both with colleagues and external customers and reps, with the ability to prioritize work and work in a team environment with a positive attitude.

Position Requirements and Skills for Field Service Ops Positions:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. 1-2 years working experience in administrative/clerical position, accounting, customer service rep, etc. Problem identification and resolution. Office setting preferred. Detail oriented and ability to work as art of a dedicated and results oriented team. Working knowledge of residential construction terminology beneficial, but not required. Must be familiar and comfortable using computers in the workplace including Windows 7, MS Office, and email, ability to type and enter data with accuracy and within reasonable speed requirements. Must be able to communicate and collaborate with customers and independent contractors in a respectful and professional manner.

REPORTING DATA ANALYST/SQL REPORT WRITER

NFR is looking for a Data Analyst/SQL Report Writer who will provide National Field Representatives with the reports, data extracts and analysis it needs to deliver outstanding service to NFR’s customers. As part of the Reporting Team, this position will assist in the analysis, design, implementation, and modifications for reports and data extractions and processing. The position will also develop, document, analyze and complete testing and debugging of report and data delivery needs. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements for the Position:
An Associate’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of related experience; or, the equivalent combination of experience and education. Proficiency in SQL and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) required. Able to demonstrate working knowledge of commonly used relational data models (link tables, master detail relationships, etc.). Understanding of complex database structures, extensive experience with report development, data delivery, and processing.
